The crew was shooting a holodeck bar scene with trumpet player Jack Sheldon when Sean Connery, working nearby on The Untouchables, came through one of the doors while the cameras were rolling. He looked around the set and asked if anyone knew where Alan King was, then wandered off still looking for him.

Tommy Smothers Steals The Shepherd
Brent took part in a reading of a Shakespeare play in which the shepherd is a small part, and afterwards he asked Patrick Stewart whether he had ever seen that role bring the house down. Patrick said no. In the reading Brent had just done, Tommy Smothers played the shepherd, and every word out of his mouth drew gales of laughter.
